What do you have from them?
What do you have from them?
This thread has been seized by the TOKYOPOP gang
I almost have all of Chobits and Battle Royale.
Disappointed that I found out Chobits has a manga box set literally after I bought the first 6 volumes
The original printings of Dragon Ball Volume 4 and 9, which has teenage Bulma's tits. Also 15 and 16 because I fucking love the 23rd.
Narushit Part 2 volumes back when I didn't hate the series, also pre timeskip ones my brother had from the library and never took back for some reason. Rasengan training is Naruto's only real own accomplishment.
Yugioh Volume 6, which has the most entertaining games like Dragon Cards and Anzu drenched in a bikini.
Death Note Black Edition Volume 1, which my highschool library actually gave me for checking out so much, awesome, early on is the only part I actually like reading now. Light became a retarded, unsympathetic protagonist.
A full set of the old flipped Silent Mobius books because it never got another release except for some other company that tried and canceled it after 3 volumes.
Only got a couple of the early Ranma manga. They fell apart with shitty binding and I vowed to never buy anything from them again.
Chainsaw Man
Complete dvd sets for Death Note, Nana and Sailor Moon
Bastard!! volumes 1-19 ...BEFORE THEY STOPPED FOR NO REASON
>Chobits
>not getting the superior 20th Anniversary omnibus set from Kodansha.
Kodansha might be a shitty company, but this collection rivals some of the best stuff released by their competitors.
Hardcover, thick gloss pages, and color pages of all existing cover art and promotional art.
Spite.
I've purged most of their content from my collection and have been picking up less from their catalog. Shonen -- their bread and butter -- just doesn't appeal to me as much anymore. Most of what I kept holds sentimental value, and anything I'm currently picking up falls more into the Seinen genre.
Right now I have the Fullmetal Alchemist hardcovers, Tenjo Tenge, All You Need is Kill, Black Lagoon, Kaiju No.8, and Reborn.
I have Ayashimon, Dandadan, and Crazy Food Truck on pre-order.
Would love to own omnibus versions of Reborn, Blue Exorcist, and Twin Star Exorcist.
How is Kaiju no.8?
Frieren
Komi can't communicate
Yashahime
Mao
Call of the Night
Sleepy Princess
Eva, Sakamoto and DeDeDeDeDeDeDeDe
Spy x Family and a pile of Junji Ito hardcover volumes. I'll probably pick up their version of Boy's Abyss assuming the translation isn't shit
Absolutely nothing. And i wish it could be possible to have less than zero viz garbage.
It's solid.
It starts off as a monster-battle-of-the-week series, but the subplot soon becomes the main focus. Pacing is decent and old tropes are used in refreshingly new ways.
MC is an adult, and is treated as such, often getting called out on his bullshit because of this. He might slipup and say a few childish things, but it's often followed up by him reprimanding himself and making the tough decisions needed to accomplish a job.
MC isn't OP. He's strong, but he could easily get bodied by teammates or enemies.
The physicals are nice. Each volume comes with a few colored pages, but you can't find 1 or 2 of the promotional images that are shown in the digital version. Maybe they'll add them to later volumes? I personally think this series should have been released as a Viz Sig.
I sure as shit don't have One Piece box sets 2-4 because they refuse to actually make more of them.
Just looking over my shelf I think they easily make up over half what I own. Hard cover jojo, both dragon ball and z, fushigi yugi, chainsaw man, demon slayer, househusband, ranma, inuyasha, skip beat, fire punch, haikyuu, tokyo ghoul, hard cover fma, tomie, gyo, uzumaki, vagabond, punpun, evangelion, slamdunk, blue flag, utena. The rest of what I own is either kodansha, dark horse, seven seas, yen press or some Japanese publisher for whatever I have untranslated.
i don't even know what they've done
