That is what makes Boundman good. It is not one of those super-saiyan type of noble, heroic transformations just a rubbery, knucklehead getting creative and acquiring more strength. It represents Luffy as the monster he is or as he known as. Well, until G5 revealed he is a literal god but whatever.
