I didn't know it was translated. It seems cool so I'd like to read it.

sell me on this
i heard it was a novel then adapted into an anime and movie

I saw the anime and liked it overall.

Kou Nishimura, who played the inventor of gakutensoku in the movie is the son of Makoto Nishimura, the actual inventor of gakutensoku. I thought that was very cool. other than that fucking Kaato
it's a deeply veiled story of Tokyo's history and its culture through the lens of onmyouji and shinto mysticism.

A really fun and spooky OVA, I came across the DVD at a hobby shop six years ago, around Halloween. Kato is a very entertaining villain, and I enjoyed its historical fiction setting in early 20th century Japan. Its also very good looking, with Gainax talent like Anno, Tsurumaki, and Masayuki working in the animation department.

I watched the 4 episode animation and liked it. I wouldnt read the manga but the story is pretty cool.

>Nishimura
hah wow, that's incredible
I can't even imagine how it must feel having to play the role of your dead father

Where I can find this?

Tubi

I was talking about the books....

Watching it made me appreciate SMT even more.
Cool animation, Kato is cool as hell and you can feel the atmosphere they were going for.

Yasunori Kato is one of the best characters in anime. You can try debating me, but you're wrong if you disagree.

>Raidou
>Bison
>Ton of occult characters.

Real based.

>Bison
He'S called Vega in these parts.

Really wish the books were translated. They sound fun.

I prefer the films. But I'm a sucker for practical effects.

Pretty cool. I like the OVA, especially the OST. I wish to read the books someday

They can’t get it too wrong,
