So will the anime adapt this panel or will they skip it?
Made in Abyss
Well let's see user
>They showed the elevator shitting scene
>They showed the toilet employee, in all his glory
All this evidence clearly indicates they will skip it. Obviously.
The absolutely most based thing they could do is to animate the entire, amazing spread at once.
With the lines separating the panels in split screen format.
With full simultaneous sound: Reg speaking, papers fluttering, Faputa and Nanachi making whatever sound they make here, and Riko just plop plopping away
damn, I had forgotten that the licking toilet is after this scene
I like how that image implies faputa is in deep thought
What kind of name is Faputa anyway? It sounds lewd.
I can't remember: has anything ever been said about Riko's dad? It's been ages since I watched S1 or read the early chapters.
Torka, black whistle, died during the same expedition before Riko was born.
She's watching her prince, and confused why he doesn't recognize her.
It's explained later by Gabu that its portmanteau of two Abysall language words meaning "unending princess".
The defilement of innocence with no real narrative purpose beside shock factor is why i dropped it.
Its not they're building up the characters to be experienced and hardened
The point is victimization at every turn, thats the quirk. One trick pony.
I dropped it because they killed my gutterflower.
It's been several weeks and I still can't believe we heard Riko's actual pooping sounds.
I love my wife Moogie
Do you still read the manga
in batches so i have a few chapters to come back to
I see. I'm mildly tempted to start reading it again just to check in on granddaughter
Yes but I want to know how this ends.
I dropped the manga halfway through the village arc, because it was kinda boring and poorly paced for waiting 6 months between chapters. I decided catch up with it again now that it's happening in anime. I fucking cried, and I'm still mad about what Riko did to these honest hard working narhate
I utterly despise Riko at thus point if not for her Vueko would still be singing and loving. If she dies ill pick the manga back up
Irumi's entire plan was to to protect Vueko, and punish the parasites living off herself until Faputa was able to take the revenge she was born for. It was a very good plan for someone with a child's intelligence. She just failed to share the plan with Vueko, and didn't realize that humans are fucking stupid, and will forget about very important shit like The Curse if they spend a century or more just comfortably chilling
Vuekofags are hilariously fragile
It's amazing you managed to actually read the manga up to the sixth layer in the first place
>defilement of innocence with no real narrative purpose
The journey into the Abyss is a crucible which burns away innocence and irrelevancy and reveals a person's true nature and potential. This theme is reflected in many places - whether it's hopeful, like the layers of Prushka's Life Reverberating Stone being chipped away to reveal the White Whistle's full power, or horrific, like Bondrewd cutting away extraneous parts of children to unlock their potential as curse-absorbing-cartridges, and of course in Bondrewd's own loss of humanity and sanity and truly becoming a monster.
Riko, of course, doesn't undergo any significant change in the story because she's pure-hearted and wears her true self on her sleeve.
No, that's not the interpretation I have at all. Iru never held any ill will to those in her. That was Vueko. She projected her anger and negativity into faputa. This was what I believed for a long time and was all but confirmed when we learned juriomoh origin.
I didn't love anything in previous layers
