There's no reason for crap like this, pure election tourist shitposting intended to ruin the board, to be banned on sight.

Long running franchises aren't always understood or fully appreciated until they end and the dust is settled.
For example with Naruto people realized that most of the shows in its genres especially New ones aren't as good or just copycats.
Also more people started bothering to explain misconceptions about it like the whole hard work vs talent being a Naruto's character theme and Sasuke being a bad character etc...
More videos on YouTube analyzing the series also got very popular and gathered attraction and more people got a better understanding of the series characters and themes through them.
Naruto in general is wildy loved and it's still the most popular anime to this day. It's just Any Forums being autistic about their coomer and moe threads getting archived due to Naruto threads.

that and it's easier to keep thematics and narratives in mind when you can binge the series at your own leisure and people can simply skip filler. Naruto being 700 episodes long intimidated a ton of people much like One Piece being over 1000 chapters long does
