The GOAT of Shoujo, and no one can tell me otherwise. PreCure, Sailor Moon, and FuBa don't even compare to this god tier gem.
Cardcaptor Sakura
>console war theead
Sakura is good but Sailor Moon is simply superior
Sailor Moon is to shojo what DBZ is to shonen: generic as fuck.
what's fuba
Fruits Basket
kero-chan > luna
sakura > usagi
pedophilia & homosexualism > getting marriage and having children
Not satisfied with people calling you retarded the last time you made this six hours ago so you're trying again huh
>CCS
just a shojo take on Pokemon. Except it's only watched by adult male weebs, and actual little girls would prefer to just watch Pokemon.
>Furuba
before Kaguya, this was the OG overrated romcom
>Precure
Maybe if you're 4 years old...
>Sailor Moon
Actual fucking kino
CCS is my favorite show of all anime. But it's still stupid to claim it's "better" than others like Sailor Moon or Princess Tutu. They're not similar at all. And it just causes pointless arguments when mahou shoujo fans should band together.
1) The manga of CCS came out before Pokemon existed.
2) Catching cards in CCS is the sub plot. The main focus is on character relationships and growing up. It's more a story about a girl going through puberty than it is about 'monster collecting.'
3) You are an idiot.
CUM IN PUSSY
CUM IN MOUTH
CUM IN BUTTHOLE
CUM IN SAKURACHAN
>it's a subplot
You could make the same argument about Pokemon, that it's really all about the power of friendship.
You can. Which would still make your comparison stupid.
Yeah but that's not true.
Pokemon isn't even the first monster collection franchise, retard.
Fruits Basket is one of the best manga ever made, let alone from shoujo manga.
>Fruits Baskeet
>romcom
How are there so many people on Any Forums that haven't read or watched Fruits Basket but insist on pretending like they have.
Not really. Pokemon spends the vast majority of its time on either Pokemon constests or catching Pokemon. They just use the "power of friendship" junk as the justification for why owning Pokemon is okay. CCS does the exact opposite. The vast majority of time is spent on character stories and slice of life. And then the cards show up at the end of episodes to reinforce the message of the slice of life. And even then, half the episodes don't have a card.
you forgot someone
Am I the only one who likes Cardcaptor Sakura, Tsubasa Chronicles, and Clear Card equally? I see people bashing Clear Card all the time yet I enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the original series.
I do like Tsubasa. Probably not as much as CCS but they also have different appeals. I'm enjoying the Clear Card manga but the anime put me off.
Clear Card is terrible. Even if you like the slice of life, it isn't even close to the original series. The cards are completely pointless in Clear Card. And the show even retroactively removes movie 2 AND ruins the anime ending at the same time.
On top of all this, it's stupid to change the visual design from the original anime to look more like the manga. And the thing was 90% filler because it came out before the manga did. Which is the clearest evidence that Clear Card was just a giant advertisement for the manga. Gee, make an anime adaptation for a manga that's not even complete...how could this go wrong?
It also says a lot when the best part of the show is when the anime only character shows up. And she flat out mocks the new character and premise of the show.
tl;dr Its bad.
Yeah. He did.
>Gee, make an anime adaptation for a manga that's not even complete...how could this go wrong?
This is literally every anime adaptation though. It's rare that a finished manga gets an adaptation.
the visuals are not great. Not that the art style chosen for the characters is bad because I think that looks pretty good but because the colors are so bright and blown out. Sakura's hair is much lighter and her skin tone several tones lighter too when she used to be darker than Tomoyo and Syaoran and this helped to show how she was sporty. But the colors everywhere in everything in CC suck, I had to watch with the tv brightness turned down to make it look bearable.
