There should have never been a timeskip

One Piece in general would be better if the pace was varied between arcs. It wouldn't hurt to have an arc that lasted weeks or even months. Considering the worldbuilding is actually good in OP, this would give a chance to move characters we just don't see any more because of the distance into arcs. It was cool to see the Supernovas in Wano even if the arc was mediocre overall. But it feels like organisations like the Marines have long since stopped being a threat, the Revolutionaries just don't appear and bounty hunters haven't existed since East Blue. Also Emperors would feel like more of a threat if the SHs didn't clear 3 islands in the space of a week.

There was no need for such a long timeskip, would be nice if Luffy and his friends learned haki as they ventured into the New World. Law and Kidd didn't need two years of training and they are on the same level as Luffy.

I think that people would have been fine with the timeskip if fishman island didnt suck so much after so much hype.

give the stawhats designs that don't suck and make zoro the cool second-in-command that he was before the timeskip

It's actually impressive how Oda managed to make literally every single Straw Hat design worse after the timeskip.
Not to mention that half of the got kinda lobotomised.

Oda stretched 13 years what should have lasted 5 years, fearing too many secondary characters in each arc that are never mentioned again, nika's powerup gave Luffy too much power in a single battle, so the excuse that Luffy needed those years to develop makes no sense, zoro's only battle against kaido and king took him to the limit, sanji's suit, the other characters' development was minimal, now oda needs many years to close the story in a decent way for not having taken advantage of those years.

I'd delete it and make the SH's progress more linear:
>Luffy and Zoro unlock basic CoA in Alabasta
>Luffy and Sanji unlock basic CoO in Skypea
>Zoro and Sanji unlock mid level in the haki they specialize in in Enies Lobby and basic of the other haki. Usopp unlocks basic CoO. Luffy gets mid level in both CoO and CoA
>The SH still get demolished by Kizaru in Shabondy, they get separated, Marineford still happens
>Instead of training, the SH follow up their first plan to get back together and each gets a bit closer to their dream on their way back to Shabondy

These are on my priority list:

1. Make nami's boobs smaller and do cartography again.
2. Make Robin tan and thinner again
3. Kill chopper entirely, this character is pointless fluff. Oda sold him out to merchandising.
4. Make sanji good again.
5. Give Usopp more and lasting character development
6. Fix Franky's retarded body

Move on to the main story more quickly and not waste 1050+ chapters on filler

no sabo
no supernovas
no scabbards
have jack/queen/king show up and cause trouble earlier on so wano actually feels like it's resolving something

What are wrong with some of the outfits?

zoro and franky are both so bad i can't even pay attention to the rest

Get rid of the supernovas, make things simpler, make the SH characters again.
