I think that the reveal of the Ganja stuff across the season rather than in one big flashback kinda works for pacing but also is hard to justify in terms of "logic" to how we are shown the story itself. In the manga it makes sense because it's Vueko retelling the story to Riko, but in the anime it's kinda weird jarring jumps between Riko's gang and the Ganja team.

That's the thing, it's not confusing but the average person is a retard. Just have one episode with Vueko starting the story (maybe at the halfway points) and continue on in later episodes until you're done
