I really don't understand how this dude's brain operates, the protagonist is burning alive and the thing he thinks back to is some random rant from Togata about Tom Cruise? yet for some reason it doesn't even feel out of place, how does he come up with such random writing

it was a roundabout way of him realizing at that particular moment that Judah & Luna are one and the same despite being different people, his brain was literally on fire so it makes sense the way he rationalizes his situation is with some weird random off comment he heard from Togata years ago.

It doesn't suck, but Chainsawman is so horribly overrated that it does make it easy to dislike all of his work. Same issue as a lot of manga, they're jerked off constantly on Any Forums despite being only average and it makes the manga that much worse as a result.

Man I love that chapter. You really have to be a filthy rude plebeian to dislike part 2
