Now that the duo arc is over, which was your favorite duo?
Pretty Series and Aikatsu
first
I enjoyed best bros too.
my favorite duo
MatsuriXAuru and LemonXMiruki were both good in different ways.
MatsuriXAuru is the classic "protagonist teaches the power of friendship" to the autist character, Auru is cute in her own way and some good points were brought up despite the seemingly simplicty of the plot, as expected of Tsubofumi.
LemonXMiruki were good in a more traditional sense, simply fun character interactions and conflicts with two vastly different personalities, very little influence from the MC too (this was a bit of a problem with AmaneXHina since Matsuri was there just to fill her quota).
AmaneXHina... wasn't bad but it certainly hurt the momentum, good ideas but Amane being the catalyst to express them is rarely going to sit well with me, I hope new season 2 characters will take some of Amane's screentime so we can spend more time with Primagi at its best.
If anything, the duo arc exposed how little there is to Hina's character. At least Amane has room to grow in her search for originality, I don't know what's going to be left for Hina after this season since Jennifer is definitely going to go the way of Anju.
The fat duo
I think Hina growing out of her one-sided rivalry was an interesting plot thread but yes, now it's up to anyone's guess where her character could even go, they'll need to come up with some new conflict or she could fade in the background during season 2, in any case I want to continue seeing chill Hina (and making her a bit more detached from Amane) since I always thought Hina seemed tailor-made to be a chill character, her first entrance is almost like a tokusatsu hero, leave the angst for some new season 2 character and let Hina follow her natural course by showing her more zen challenges that has to solve without punching walls.
I love Yume so much it's unreal.
>now it's up to anyone's guess where her character could even go
The only room left is for her is to lean into the super senpai role, but I don't think anyone really wants or expects that. The cast is bloated enough as is, and Jennifer already serves the role of akogare person so she'd be redundant, even if Jennifer (hopefully) fucks off for season 2. It's unfortunate, but she's stuck with nowhere to go and a poor duo partner who doesn't support or prop her up in any way. They'll have to run with some truly out of left field shit for Hina to stay relevant and interesting
>The cast is bloated enough as is
This is the slimmest the cast has been since Pripara S1, even Rainbow Live has more performing idols and side characters than Primagi.
I was about to say that, for a show with at least two more seasons in the horizon it's still compact.
Now, there's the side that we don't know how many more characters they're going to add each season, shouldn't be too bad if they don't go overboard.
I don't know about that. By my count, there are no less than 16 different major characters in various factions to focus on right now. It's been a while since I've watched early Pripara and RL, but even if it's on parity, that's a little much and clearly they're still struggling.
>The cast is bloated enough as is
The characters are all so dull that surely jamming more random characters into each episode would be an improvement.
I miss TRiANGLE
next episode
Aromageddon
They're so shiny and lickable
and Reversible Ring is super adorable
aifure sucks
Looks like the bot is finally fixed and can spell again, I was getting worried.
Don't you think your teenager self would be ashamed about knowing that you in the future would say that a pink melting into orange-haired girl wearing bunny ears and posing with her closed hands near her cheeks is "Cute!" ?
You went down the wrong path, where is your testosterone?
I went on meds that are supposed to lower my testosterone recently but yet I've been having bigger cumshots than ever
