Her parent seems to be rather indifferent to her existence, like they neither dislike or care for her, more like they are just following the motion, like oh, we are parent, let's give her food and shelter since that's what parents do, but don't bother with communication or share a emotional bond or connection with her or anyone in that house hold, seems like everyone is just indifferent to one and another, maybe it's a culture thing since they want to keep everything vague to avoid conflict.
