Why isn't it basically an industry standard to draw anime characters with actual visible noses and full-lips? They look so much better that way. They used to do so a lot more in the 80s/90s too.
Why isn't it basically an industry standard to draw anime characters with actual visible noses and full-lips...
Because many people don't agree with you on what looks best.
The new artstyle was pioneered by manga.
I heard that a major advantage of minimalist noses is that they don't look weird no matter what angle the face is postured at.
I agree
BEHOLD, the industry standard
It takess a little more money to make and industry cares (even more than years ago) about profit
Hnnnnnnng!!! I'm going to burst!
They tried the nose shit with Akebi-chan and it looked HORRIBLE, they looked like deformed girl-dog hybrids created in a government lab
>That
>Visible nose
Anime is a simplified vision of the real form. The two eyes plus mouth is perfect for understanding the emotions and humanity of the character. The nose does not add anything but crowding and overcomplication to the image, ultimately making it uglier for no gain. The only exception is having a character who's nose adds character to their design.
Moe cancer has infected everything.
Most anime are shit at portraying emotion and anime characters are ugly as fuck without a nose
Are you retarded? Why would every anime use the same style?
because you are wrong
because maximum efficiency at minimum effort. Moving the mouth to the side is also a trick to facilitate animations
no.
>implying they already don't
You're right, this is so much cuter
>_sample
Eww, no. If all anime was like that shaft director Any Forums would be no different from Any Forums.
I see ugly people all day. Let me enjoy some 2D aesthetics.
Sidemouths are fine but please don't fucking draw the silhouette of the mouth on the front too.
>mouth moves
>lips don't
hate that shit
