oh no....oh no no no....NO NO NO N-HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA
Oh no....oh no no no....NO NO NO N-HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA
American audiences are the ones who asked for this.
They want to regurgitate the same works again and again and again forever.
*Netflix wanted it
No one
I repeat. NO ONE wanted this
Netflix is DESPERATE for anything that can save them
Their Q2 expects a 1M loss in subs.
Q1 was just 200k
They are purchasing any successful IPs they could get their hands on without a single idea on how to make them work. They only wanted cheap live-action and hoped for the best
>URAMESHI
>gets translated as FRNOCAP
>*Netflix wanted it
Because american audiences wanted it. Same with live action Cowboy "WELCOME TO THE OUCH MOTHERFUCKER" Bebop or the horrible FCLC sequels.
Note how the works that get those horrible Netflix adaptations are shows popular with the Toonami-watching USA audience.
If there's even an audience for it, it won't fail lol
People wanted the anime, not liveaction
No one watches liveaction
Gokusen, GTO, and shoujos are the only ones that had better liveaction than animation
Compare the anime to this.
>Yusuke looks okay I guess
>Kuwabara looks too skinny
>Hiei looks like a nerd
>Kurama looks like a tranny
What were they thinking? The guys in the anime looked tough and had some masculine energy to them, this just looks like a beta fest.
>YOU CAN SHOWER SHIT
>TAIYO ABITE
How I wish Netflix would just remake the series with better animation
But that's more expensive than burning money for a live-action that would not only fail but also tarnish your name further
Corpos do not understand the value of having a good reputation in your outputs
No, that's the thing. Americans didn't actually want Netflix Bebop. Nobody did. It was a massive flop.
They're using Asian k-pop singers as actors. They didn't even try to find good casting, or maybe some Asian men with muscle on their body. Surely not ever Asian man is skinny, you could have found a young muscular guy to play Kuwabara, I mean Kuwabara has some mass to him.
You are ridiculous if you are going to find a youngish actor who is Japanese/Korean, who has the mass, has the height, the tough guy look and who can act all in one person.
Kuwabara was made for manga and anime not live action. In fact he doesn't even look Japanese but a 1950s Yankee. Lets stop playing around here.
are they?
Fair enough, they should have used a white guy to play Kuwabara like Blake Griffin but obviously they're going to use an all Asian cast.
I don't know, just heard one or two of them are apparently k-pop singers or actors.
>it's real
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
>Kurama looks like a tranny
So one white guy in the sea of yellow? How would that look for the American audiences and world wide appeal?
You think this is about good products and not about money laundering?
Bruh
Netflix is dying
There is no place for money laundering when they are outright losing money
>gets woke
>goes broke
heres hoping the spirit gun has the last bullet to end netflix.
Unfortunately, not fucking yet
Stranger things has only 1 season left and once it's done, it's finally over
Netflix has no other cash cow big enough to keep them afloat
I am confident they would survive but they would crash with a huge thud
Jesus christ. Do they really want to repeat the Cowboy Bebop fiasco?
