Last chapter didn't mention anything about the next one if I recall, so no.

So how do I start reading Yotsuba in Japanese? I have manga rikai and when I was a kid I just used a "my language to English" dictionary until I was able to read. I have manga rikai and I can always find the raws, but do I just use manga rikai's dictionary or am I missing something? I was just thinking of grabbing all kanji and putting it through dictionaries like jisho until I pick up the gist of what they're saying/eventually pick up grammar through repetition.

I don't think Yotsuba has furigana so I wouldn't recommend reading it in Japanese. Plus Yotsuba herself talks a little weird which can be difficult to understand for beginners.
Live translating what you're reading will get tiring soon.
How much Japanese do you know anyway? Can you pick up on basic everyday phrases in anime? If you have that much hearing comprehension then maybe you can try watching kids tv with Japanese subtitles. They have furigana for the harder kanjis and use basic enough vocab to not have to open the dictionary every second. It's not a good place to start but it's a start and that's the most important thing.

I'm used to the process of not understanding anything and only getting the gist of it so I don't mind translating it live. I only know the phonemics/gist of the kanas assigned to each one it's just that I haven't actually started reading or watching anything other than doing flashcards on Anki so I can't really progress without that. So I'm still technically less than a beginner, but I know I'll pick it up once I start somewhere. Guess it's time to download Doraemon I guess. Thanks user.
