3x3 thread but with a spin

post a 3x3 of your favorite anime OSTs, regardless of the quality of the show in question.

Pretty nice picks, made some changes to the one from the previous thread? I don't see FLCL anymore there

2/2
2/2

The Ping Pong soundtrack is just so good
Susumu Hirasawa is awesome so Paprika is a good pick
Love Revue. KareKano and Kemonozume soundtracks are also really good.

Sonny boy had some amazing tracks

I don't remember the soundtrack of anything I've ever watched.

Dragon ball Z had the best soundtrack of any long running shonen, I don't think it's even close, it perfectly sets the tone

really iconic tracks

Had to throw this together kinda quickly but it's more or less the same as my normal grid.
7/7 +++ping pong ++wolf's, naruto, dbz, paprika, ergo proxy +noragami. Great picks. Pingpong is the only Ushio score I like and it's fantastic
6/6 +++e7, ping-pong ++aria, nisemonogatari +karekano, steins, kemonozume. Based out of your mind for E7.
3/3 +++pingpong, dandy +madoka. Nice topsters list, and great picks with Dandy and Pingpong.

Patlabor 2 has a perfect soundtrack. Those ambient tunes fit so well in every scene and sound incredible too.

If not for Ito's airtight sociopolitics and Oshii's sparse, methodical direction, I'd say P2's ost almost carries the film to an extent.

i cant think of 9 off the top of my head, take this cheap image collection.

It's a very well realized film on all fronts. The animation is superb too. I wouldn't say it's carried by anything.

Yeah, fair enough. I think it's just so easy to get swept up in the atmosphere of the music that everything else sort of fades into the background if you aren't paying attention.

Keep your cancer to one thread

Last thread I tried not to repeat franchises from my actual 3x3, that's why it's different. FLCL, There She Is are runner ups

4/5, I wasn't very impressed with Shiki's OST, aside from dance of death nothing else stood out
3/3
3/4, I assume that's madoka on the center right? I really dislike Kajiura's style, other than that solid picks
5/6, I like Sawano but he's honestly repetitive as an artist, he doesn't capture well the shows he works on, I guess that's a good way to make yourself commercially viable but in my opinion a good composer blends with whatever he's working on
I love Iwasaki Taku because I cannot tell he's the one composing the anime I'm watching unless I look at the credits.
Arifureta had some nice jazz tunes, surprisingly good OST for a cheap isekai anime

1/4 Naruto's a complete shit show, but i'll be damned if even the minor unreleased pieces don't run through my head
1/4 monogatari soundtrack and its got Kaiki's theme on it, as for Dorohedoro, the manga soundtrack was better
0/2 ain't seen sonny boy, but its ost is great background music
2/3 Kill La Kill only has a couple of tracks i revisit consistently, but othose are some of the tracks of all time, Cowboy Bebop is cheating
1/2 haven't seen enough Gintama to get the ost stuck in my head, but Trigun reminds meof watching westerns with my family
3/5 The Pillows using FLCL as their best hits compilation is really convenient for new listeners, RIP Nujabes, YEYEYEYEYE, as for Bleach the only song that ever stood out was Ichigo's theme aside from a couple of the EDs

Attached: 3x3 OST.png (1200x1200, 2.42M)

I know it's cheating, but it's too damn good. Phenomenal picks btw; FLCL, champloo, p&s, boogiepop, naruto, Eva. Ridiculously good line-up.

I thought Shiki only had one leit motif that plays repeatedly but checking it out again l guess I was wrong. The ost is consistenly good. I'll need to finish Wolfs Rain, and Noragami as well, thanks for the reccs
I know I've seen these movies but the ost never stood out to me for some reason. I need to check them out again. Fellow Revue Starlight enjoyer -> bro
Can you pls name these shows. I want to put these any watchlist but im too lazy to crop and search
Interesting picks but pic related.
me. I like Monogatari as a whole and the upper middle image is indeed Revue Starlight

I love the vibes on the Kizu soundtrack, especially on that volume since it has Spasibo which I fucking love. I like hiphop but Nujabes never really appealed to me. Hate the PSG anime but that soundtrack cover is sexy as hell.

Ironic.

the drums on Noragami's OST are awesome
