All the time, K-on is really bad though. Jokes are boring and highly repetitive, and the production value, of S1 at least, is extremely low despite KyoAni cultists claims to the contrary.

Konosuba has its moments because everyone is an unbelievable jerk to each other. But otherwise, no. Most "comedies" try too hard to be zany or are so Japanese the jokes feel weird. I'm so tired of the punchline being everyone falling over at once while the background becomes some weird repeating pattern.

I thought K-On was pretty funny. Recently I watched Daitarn 3 which is hilarious

Sure, although often it's more an about an enjoyable feeling than laughing out loud.

K-On season 2 had some mildly funny moments, Nichijou also.

Most Japanese humour is undercut by the fact that they feel the need to overexplain every joke.

This is a good example from Nichijou. They felt the need to have Yuuko say “it’s tiny” despite the extremely strong visual which conveys her disappointment really well. It kills the joke.
