I like your choices from those films, they're more or less "random" screenshots but all show roughly what the story is about, rather than just beung pretty pictures
this 3x3 has anime that have a lot more to do with each other than mine does, so it shows your personality a lot more

Colored manga pages give a greater aesthetic than anime frames.
Your grid has a much more well defined color palette than mine.
You don't want to show off aesthetics like me and many others here. You just want to share your favorites and that's kind of cute, which can't be said of mine.
Your pics show these anime "in-the-moment" rather than being screenshots of simply visually appealing frames which makes for a more representative depiction of them.

I love the striking contrasts on there and the directness with which these covers convey the feeling and atmosphere of their respective manga. I'd argue that they do that better than any of my manga grids can.

Well, these are just volume 1 covers for each of them. Not a very personal grid and not one where you try to shine a light on any particular aspect of them. On the one hand, that makes me want to dismiss it, because it says very little about you or what you care about. But it also means that it lets the manga stand there for themselves as a whole, with no trickery to make them appear better than they are. In a way, it might be the most honest grid in here. But I still wish it had more of your own input.

even an axed manga like Build King is better
I like that you put on Pokemon because most people don't want to admit they enjoy that sort of manga that you pick up when you're 8 or 9 and think is amazing
for me, those manga were Buddha and Faerie's Landing (gook manga), but neither make it to my 3x3
