She destroyed the entire village. Her shitty, childish plan never had even the slightest chance of working. The rate that the dead turn into new shiki is fairly high, every shiki needs to eat every single night, and a human dies after only three or four days of feeding in a row.
The idea of a shiki village is completely unsustainable, and it's impossible to emphasize with Sunako or the shiki because of that. You could maybe feel kind of bad for them if the plan was possible but just went off the rails. But instead you're 100% forced to root for the doctor and this based old man, hoping that he gives the dumbass loli as painful a death as possible.
Also fuck that bitch who killed her entire family hoping they would join her in eternal suffering when they weren't even blood related. She didn't deserve the mercy she received as the sunrise melted and peeled away her flesh.

Killing the whole village was always the plan. I wouldn't doubt that Sunako probably hoped for some level of cohabitation with willing humans, but they would have been a tiny minority and that was nothing more than a pipe dream. The simple fact is they never thought that far ahead, and they didn't care that an entire village would be wiped out by the time they realized their plan sucked.
