>Manga finally gets adaptation
>It's CGI
ITT: Monkey's paw moments
>manga continues after an extremely long hiatus/ author death.
>Instand quality drop-off.
>Manga finally gets adaptation
>it's butchered/rushed
>manga's anime adaptation gets a sticky
>it ends up being one of the least popular shows of its season
Wdym? These past 3 chapters have been miles better than anything Miura has shat out shortly before his death.
Samidare bros...
pic unrelated
That already happened with CSM
>Manga finally gets adaptation
>people don't give a fuck
>manga gets adaptation
>studio is Queen Bee
That's the best outcome you could hope for though. Series always get ruined by popularity and normies
>also anime season
what anime, user?
>manga gets an adaption
>Crunchyroll original
I'd take the slightly off and stiffer new art with story progression over more fanservice and starwars references anyday.
No fucking way this is real, what series?
Looks like Ex-Arm for me.
>great manga gets anime adaptation
>it's nearly unwatchable and looks like children made it in powerpoint
>same studio adapts a far worse manga THE SAME YEAR with fantastic, at times stunning animation
I seriously want to know what is happening at David Production
What animes you had in mind?
Far right, third row
Which videogame?
Ex-arm
A manga adaption so bad the author stopped using their twitter account for over a year after it aired.
Jojo Part 4 and Fire Force. Maybe stunning is a bit too high praise but it honestly looks like both shows came from completely different parts of the planet.
Wasn't Ex-Arm also the anime that was so bad that the sequel manga got axed soon after?
honestly has any Crunchyroll Original even been mildly watchable? That entire program was a mistake.
>Manga finally gets adaptation
>stuck in Netflix Jail
Tonikaku Kawaii was decent, but I don't think they were heavily involved in that other than them being in the production committee.
Is Netflix jail even much of a thing outside of Any Forums? Komi-san had super dead threads on Any Forums and yet it was extremely popular among normies. At least among normies, being a Netflix show sometimes helps more than hurts.
Jojo Part 6 flopped really badly in western territories due to Netflix exclusivity and being dumped in the 'binge' model that Netflix somehow hasn't dropped yet.
that said it was probably always going to do poorly given the material they had to adapt
