What I want to know is, how come Lelouch never developed the ability to hide his double Geass? Charles could. I always assumed that was the final "evolution" of a Geass. It goes from hidden in one eye, to visible in one eye, to visible in both eyes, and then hidden in both eyes. That seemed to make sense to me.

Did not remember when C.C said? Use Geass a lot makes it stronger, and eventually, it will never turn off. What Lelouch was using was special contacts from C.C, and even then she said they wouldn't work forever if he continues to use his Geass.
