Why is drinking coffee in the evening (or right before sleep) so popular in anime? how do they fall the fuck asleep?
you can drink decaff
You'll get immune with time.
If you happen to have high tolerance it won't affect you. That and also decaf
Even if you have no trouble falling asleep, caffeine still worsens the quality of sleep and impedes brain recovery. Drinking it at night is an absolutely retarded habit
do people really have that strong reaction to normal coffee?
maybe I just got used to it but it doesnt affect me at all
have you never drank coffee before? it's not an energy drink laced with caffeine tablets that will keep you awake for 72 hours if you take it before bed
I drink about 4-6 cups every day, and have done for over a decade
any caffeine whatsoever past 5 keeps me tossing and turning into the early hours
consider yourself blessed, user
Even if you think something doesn't affect you at all, that does not mean that it actually doesn't.
My mother thought the same until she cut her coffee consumption, and her sleep quality improved notably.
Coffee just makes me feel slightly drunk and sleepy.
What about tea?
Far as I'm aware, the Japs drink really weak coffee because they don't like the taste
I'm sure there's nothing wrong with the 1 liter of black tea that I drink every night.
No, sir. That's totally fine.
it might be the ammount, I rarely drink more than 3-4 cups a day with the last cup usually at around 1700-1800
but when I worked for the government and was bored to death or didnt want to work I usually drank more (6-7 cups) and I could actually feel the heart rate increasing after that for quite a time
It's common where I live (Portugal). I think it's absolutely fucking retarded and I don't drink coffee after the expresso I have post lunch.
>expresso
>expresso
bro thats a tiny ass cup, and not even a full one at that, that shit barely fazes anyone
Tiny cups for tiny anons.
I really despise the coffee industry.
Coffee might just be the most successful stealth drug to hook billions of people and nobody questions it.
Imagine being able to sell a completely optional and dispensable product where basically everyone in the 1st and 2nd world says
>If I don't consume this luxury product in the morning I just can't function properly
From a merchant's perspective, the PR and public image that has been constructed for coffee is beyond genuis, even better than the "smoking cigarettes is cool" trope.
I'm glad I finally quit it.
I mean to a degree coffoo and tobacco got the same branding:
>our product is for the mature and sophisticated
Cigs lost that image but Coffee still has this whole completely artificial barista culture so the people dependant on it can feel cultured for consuming the product.
I'm pretty sure the sugar industry is more successful.
And most people aren't even aware that there is sugar in the stuff they eat.
Coffee got a good start being available only to kings and royalty in Europe
Wheatmongers are the most powerful dope dealers in the West. And now they are conquering Japan with their "running with a toast in your mouth" propaganda.
