Here is why manga adaptations are useless

I couldn't hold myself and I already read the Ojisan Isekai manga. Now there is no point to view the anime, because I already know what is going to happen.

That is why I like filler. Only retards whine about new content.

tell me you don't read novels without telling me you don't read novels

this is mostly an issue with isekaishit because it's always soulless 1:1 adaptations with no redeeming features.
most good adaptations improve upon their source material, from VAs to directing to OST.
isekai anime is pointless, just read the manga, I'd tell you to read the novels but honestly who the fuck even wants to read isekai novels

It's your fault retard

You are the one that doesn't understand.
Anime adaptations exist so people that like manga like me can watch our favorite panels animated and the characters we know voiced.

I actually stopped watching anime after I started reading manga. Is this a normal transition?

Congrats, now you understand the entire reason the anime exists. Anime adaptions are usually advertisements for the source material. The publisher hired a studio to animate the manga in an attempt to convince people to buy the manga.
As a side note, this is why manga/light novels will often get cancelled right after an anime adaption. If the anime doesn't bring in enough new readers to justify the production cost, it will be cancelled.

>plot points are the only thing that matter in media
Actual autism, please get yourself diagnosed

I don't bother watching anime for what I read unless it's a action/sport or I really like the voices

>clueless japanese otaku guy watches new anime
>wow this is cool I wonder what happens next
>buys all the volumes and figurines
And that's why anime gets made

Retard.

This is why we need an anime originals revival

Yes, most people in japan don't even watch anime, all the shows western kids watch get broadcasted at like 3 am, reading manga is pretty much the only medium that matters when it comes to these stories

Yep, golden age of anime was when there were original shows in the late 90s and early 2000s, adaptations were all shit and a lot of them changed the story to present a different take on the original manga, it used to be so nice back then

This. Seeing it in color and in motion, plus the characters actually havung voices instead of reading the lines in our subconscious voice. That's what adaptations are good for.

Adaptations are just ads for the source material, if it got you to read the manga then it served it's purpose

>Read kisekoi when it started, way before it ever got any adaptations.
>Be up to date on manga, read as it releases.
>Anime announced.
>Get a refresher on old material that I hadn't seen in a while.
>Get to see a whole production staff's interpretation of the source material, with new added moments here and there.
>Get to see favorite panels animated.
>Since I live in Japan, get to go to the places shown in the anime, get to feel a different level of immersion with my favorite stories and characters.
>Go to collabo cafes and events that are only spurred on by the anime adaptation.

Nah, anime adaptations are perfectly fine and another important aspect of the industry. You're just stupid.

I did the same, but the thing about the Ojisan anime is that, because it's an officially licensed Sega product, it has the actual Sega games and sounds being used in the adaptation. The scene of Kaede's shadow and the 7th Force theme playing is something that can't be found in the manga, and right now everybody is gearing up for the eventual Dreams Dreams cover to happen.

...

>watch anime
>get a full story told over 3-6 months
>read manga
>need to follow for 10+ years to see the full story
