The thing with Enoji was obviously a fake death, I mean they didn't find a body and Enoji can be a tricky sonofabitch and probably has a good reason though Jinseis gonna deck his ass good when he come back

Ngl, I was both sad and confused about Enjoji’s death. Since I read the pilot chapter (or chapter 0) I thought this was Saruwatari using the pilot plot point of Enjoji dying so Jinsei can be the sole caretaker of his family, but another part of me though it was way to convenient for him to go missing like that. Especially since he found out the answer he’s been looking for all these years. If he comes back in later chapters, it’ll definitely be interesting to see what he and Jinsei get up too, or at the very least get an earful from the latter man.

I was never a fan of the idea of Jinsei taking over someone else family, it felt like an easy way out and too obvious.
after these pages and I'm glad Saruwatari back stepped from it, it just hit harder seeing how this big lunk connects all these strangers into his own giant family.

An user last year dumped the series during the week of Father's Day and a lot of people got to know it from there, this year someone tried to do the same but unfortunately it didn't get as popular as the last time. I f I had to sumarize it in ome way I would say it's a love letter to masculinity and fatherhood and a recognition of the good and bad of those things.

Over the course of the series, you get to see Jinsei gain the family he wanted. And seeing all these people by his side during his toughest moment really shows you how far he’s come. From a yazkua bashing in heads every other day to a man who just wants to help the smaller people he comes across, and too see them have his back when he had theirs during their encounters really makes you shed a tear.
