I remember reading air gear. It started as a kinda fun action manga with lots of services. But then they killed my suspension of disbelief with their over the top skate-is-a-WMD shit.

AG doesnt work because the AT tech is rare and expensive, not everyone can buy a single set, and certainly the Storm Rider factions, specially Sleeping Forest trying to keep people in general away dont help at all.
