Yes, cures are also extremely strong, specially Spicy. I don't remember other shield cure outside Sunshine having long distance shields and being that much consistently durable. Coral shields started becoming weaker by Episode 7.

Star Twinkle first battle gave impression we would have a lot of low gravity battles in space but it only happens a handful of times and the series in general didn't have much focus on the battles, which was very antagonistic with how HG seemed it wouldn't have much of battles because the constantly holding rods thing but the season itself always tried to be creative with it and the cures powers. Also mooks stop mattering after Aiwarn disappears.
