The jury's still out. Better than Mask of Deception, that's for sure, since they're trying to stay true to the source material. But it's so condensed so far that I'm not sure that I'd actually say it's good. More like "just okay".

Also, as fast paced as it was, this episode was pretty nice.

Its meh. I expected it to be compressed af and that most SoL moments will be gone. There is quite a bit of QUALITY moments however.
But I'm still happy to see Kuon animated.

Ironic that Oboro's analysis and reasoning for invading Yamato while it was in chaos was fatally wrong. If Oshtor's rebellion had been quashed, Tuskur's retaliatory invasion would have been crushed either because of Raiko's military brilliance or Woshis' high-tech cheating. Shortly afterward, Tuskur would have fallen to Yamato.
Never leave the comic relief in charge when you leave.

The Decoys were engineered to have much longer lifespans than humans. It's probably the same reason that Torikori can have a daughter that's Nekone's age in spite of having a son that is as old as Oshtor was.

I think Oshtor was in his early 30`s, while Nekone 10-12 yo, it`s nor rare to have siblings IRL with this age difference.
