Just finished fullbring for the first time and what the actual fuck just happened? This is nothing like what I have been hearing about this arc. It’s actually good with good characters that serve their purpose well, I’d even go as far as to say that Tsukishima is the most terrifying villain yet.

Honestly, me too. It may be because the whole “Aizen planned everything” has been a meme for so long that it wasn’t that shocking when he did anything, if anything it became annoying with how many times he would say “did you really think”. Wish I could’ve experienced that part of the story completely blind.

The arc needed to give the fullbringers more detailed background and focus. Only Ginjo, Tsukishima and Riruka got it. Also the subplot with Ukitake should have been explored either in FB or TYBW rather than leaving for the novels. That actually gives Ginjo so much more depth and his motivations understandable.
