The ultimate goal of all companies is to try and corner the market. You can't really blame them for trying to take over anime/manga, which is their competition. People should stop focusing on being so angry about a company trying to do what they're suppose to do. The same as a politician is all about trying to make as many backdoor deals to enrich themselves as possible.

If people would just accept these as truths, we can move onto the next step. Which is enforcing the laws and public opinion to keep them from actually achieving that goal. But far too many people in the public get fixated on the first part. Wanting to focus on an emotional response to the companies actions. Which the company then uses as publicity and cover. They make shit like this to divert your attention from the truly bad shit they're doing behind the scenes.
