It seems like another one of those "leadership" anime like Slime Isekai and Log Horizon where the MC is tasked with running a successful nation.
But season 1 is 25 episodes long and I can't muster up enough fucks to actually watch it.

Yeah, they do talk in the epilogue conversation but there's nothing really to hint at any mutual interest IMO. If anything, he seems to view Munechika as a huge stick in the mud.
