Dont learn Japanese from the Spy Family

If anyone is thinking of watching Spy Family and learning Japanese, I would stop them.

Anya's Japanese is quite strange.
It is a mixture of a child's way of speaking and an adult-like way of speaking influenced by spy anime.
Yor's Japanese is cute but stupid, while Forger's Japanese is correct but difficult to learn.

Who the fuck even thinks they can learn Japanese from anime beyond a few basic words?

you literally can lmao

Learning Japanese from anime is like learning spanish from telenovelas, you are gonna sound like a retarded theater major.

No sane person would use Anya Forger as an example of good Japanese. Even the subtitlers picked up on the fact that she's a literal child and her speech patterns reflect that: Her words are incomplete and often wrong for the context in which she uses them, much like you would expect from a real child who is still learning to speak her native language.

well...thank you user.

You mean nips don say waku waku when they are excited?

Watch j drama instead. Everyone who thinks they can learn Japanese by watching anime needs to be punched in the stomach.

Did you really really expect a child who's just starting school to be a good character to try to learn proper use of a language from?

It's excellent listening practice once you have a decent knowledge foundation.

Yuji from JJK also does.

Anybody who thinks it's a good idea in the first place deserves what happens.

>demonic possession

What the fuck is wrong with Any Forumsfags to even entertain the idea of some retard learning a language from a moeshit FOTM series for redditors?

You think there are people who are going to pick this specific show to learn Japanese from?

you're kinda stupid OP

on the contrary, anya's errors are extremely illuminating with regard to japanese grammar. the big brained student would not neglect this resource
