I hope it's a dick measuring contest. What does Oda have that can outshine CONAN TOWN?
holy shit is Conan still alive?
why wouldn't it be? the movies alone make nearly 10 billion yen per year
Gosho is going to be intimidated by Oda. At least Oda keeps the level high throughout the manga and doesn't introduce overrated shit fujobait characters.
>Ace
>Sabo
>Law
One Piece manga outsold Conan
I know everyone here loves OP, but that story hasn't been great since Water 7 IMO. The Conan "story" at least has more highs than it does lows.
>sales
Fucking boring.
>OP
>popular worldwide
>DC
>popular Japan-wide
Not even a competition, OP is a global phenomenon. DC doesn't stand a chance and will never be as culturally significant as OP.
The story became shit after the BO/FBI clash arc.
>popular Japan-wide
While Detective Conan has mostly sold in Asian regions (China, Hong Kong, Korea, The Middle East, etc.), it sells well around Italy, Germany, and Spain. It is not a big hitter as much as it is around Japan, but it does move units in other places outside Japan, as few as they may be.

OP is the most boring shit around, Conan is great.
>Mine is longer!
>No! Detective Conan has been being published since 94, that's 3 years before One Piece was even created!
>Oh, we were talking about our works?
Detective Conan? More like Defective Cucked Nerd lmao
Good one, user
The hacks meet
I like both manga, so it might be interesting.
I started watching Conan recently, around a hundred eps in, I like it a lot but I can't imagine how it's going to stay interesting for another 900 eps, hopefully the murder mysteries stay creative.
I think after 600 episodes is where it starts to go downhill because Gosho like to put in more characters and more unnecessary mystery nobody needs.
