Is there anything wrong with the weak MC getting stronger and starts participating in fights instead of letting his magical girlfriend do all the fighting for him? This happened in Yofukashi no Uta and everyone is complaining about it.

Maybe those people prefer their waifus to be stronger than men.
there's nothing wrong, anyone who complains about it is retarded
>everyone is complaining about it.
Who's everyone?
why does he look like a twig if he fights?
Isn't that just Shakugan no shana?
Everyone in the comic is a twig except for the fat otaku guy.
Plenty of shows did this but I've never seen their fans complain, but when it happened in Yofukashi no Uta people lost their shit.
I don't consider the average jaded shitposter and repulsive waifufag representative of "everyone's" opinion
I don't participate in Yofukashi no Uta discussions so I don't know what people in general are complaining about, but it's probably because they introduced a brand-new state of vampirism with basically no build-up to it or foreshadowing which instantly made him so overpowered that even vampires with dozens of years of experience can't compete.
That's because every new character they introduce immediately jobs to the MC who gets SUPER STRONG when he's mad.
He's only ever defeated one character by himself.
And the fact it turned into a fucking battle manga.
This manga has had fights as early as chapter 19 but when Kou joins in it's now a "battle manga".
I love seeing this kind of shit. Wasn't really on the hype train, but I guess I'll watch the anime with a bit more interest now.
3x3 eyes did it way earlier
This. I'm so fucking tired of these retards repeating "it's a shounen battle manga now." It's an actual room temperature IQ take.
There is probably nothing inherently wrong.
But it changes the premise of the story which might rub people the wrong way if they liked what was going on previously.
I'm pretty sure they haven't actually read the manga and are just parroting.
Here's another one.
>Here's another one.
I haven’t read the manga, I was just commenting on OP’s premise.
The anime won't get that far.
