The Best Romance Anime Out there. Takeo and Rinko are so beautiful together. It's so innocent and sweet, I always watch this with my waifu, and we both agree we're like Takeo and Rinko in our own way.

it's alright but I guess I wanted more conflict with the main lead
It's not about conflict, It's about Acceptance, and Commitment, and Loyalty. Takeo and Rinko have a pure, loving bond, it is nothing short of beautiful, and quite rare to find in anime today.
It's one of a kind. Truly, kind-hearted acceptance, in it's most purest form, animated on screen.
The Live Action Version was fairly good too.
I was really hoping this show would have ushered in a "Big "scary" muscled guy gets the pretty girl" era, especially since this aired like a year or two after Kill la Kill with the Mako Gamagoori pairing.
Sadly it did not.
Just more bland toast self insert jap MCs or pretty boys.
I'm tired of animu acting like girls don't want to fuck jacked men. We need more jacked but relatable/likable MCs.
Not swimmer bodys. Armstrong men, or bulk men like that sumo show that aired.
Maybe if more Jap men got jacked instead of being pretty faggots and swimmer boys, there might not be a population problem or their women wouldn't constantly flock or hold out for foreigners.

It's okay brother. Ore Monogatari was meant to be a diamond in the rough. It's cute, sweet, lighthearted, and it's a parable, where Suna and Takeo embodied a really cool parable, that taught a very powerful lesson about friendship.
And of course, Takeo loved Rinko and Rinko loved Takeo too. They both love wholeheartedly. Is there nothing more beautiful than this, of only the loving being loved?

Megumi Han is her voice actor for the anime.
I'd add Toradora to the mix, but Taiga is so violent, selfish, and mean to Ryuji, who's the nicest guy ever to her, and she just treats him so terribly, and this anime is sold as romantic.
Taiga and Rinko are like complete opposites.
Rinko is the ideal girl. I have only met girls in my life who only pretended for a short time to be as lovely as Rinko. There is a delicate flower out there that is sweeter and more tender than Rinko for me, and that is my Dearest Penelope. She's always been there for me when no one else was, I'll love her forever.

What about Sunakawa's older sister trying to break up Rinko from Takeo so that she can have him? That was a conflict, which resolved itself indirectly due to how strong Rinko and Takeo's connection was.
