Confirming the toddler part I see

Quarter his screentime. Make every appearance a double spread. Counter-present Wano's political structure as being overly bureaucratic to make his might is right philosophy more fleshed out.

I would probably give him bigger legs.

It is because it solves people being able to complain about it. No man, no problem.

Confirming the fag part I see

The biggest problem with his fight isn't that it dragged on or that it turned into a stomp once Gear 5 showed up. Biggest issue is that it never felt personal. Kaido is not really Kaido, he's the idea of the Yonkou being strong moreso than a character in itself.

seems almost like oda got cold feet halfway through act 3 and just cut out like 60% of his backstory , now he is just le strong scary monster

Give him a real flashback, awakening, a real personal conflict with Luffy

Make him interesting. Make him scary. Fucking feeble jobber should have killed every scabbard but Kinemon (and Kin should have ended up severely maimed). Give him a fucking backstory. It's unreal how badly Oda fucked up with Koido.

He ended up being like virtually every big bad guy in OP; did off-camera badstuff in the past and made Ruffy's new frens cry. He's not even good by that low standard - Doffy was the pinnacle of that type of villain in the series. What a waste of time he ended up being.
