It was so hyped on Any Forums before and during its air.
Any Forums was collectively creaming their panties over it right up until the recap episode.
It was pretty cool to watch Any Forums's collective soul get crushed.
It was even better to see twitter die. They were pumping it as "LGBT friendly" but all the girls were straight and the "boy in a girl's body" was catastrophically raped to the point of suicide.
Nothing quite encapsulates "flavor of the month" quite like WEP. It was brilliantly popular when it aired, and when it ended it was instantly forgotten. It's got no rewatch value.
I even deleted the screencaps and edits we made.

Before it aired I kept pointing out that the lack of PVs and infos so close to airing was worrisome, and idiots kept insisting that there was nothing to worry about (yeah you, reading now, you're an idiot).
Then episode 1 was actually good, but it was immediately followed by an awful second episode, and at that point it was already clear that the show wouldn't have measured up to the expectations, even before the production disaster behind the scenes became obvious.

Setting aside the fact that nobody who says that has been on Any Forums longer than 2 years, and therefore you should stop posting and lurk more, there is only one transgender character in WEP. She is female-to-male and after killing herself goes to a place that is explicitly stated to be girls-only, so I'm not sure this show is sending the message you think it is.
