I mean, objectively speaking Kunoichi Tsubaki was one of the best Spring seasonal anime; excellent production values, stunning visuals, beautiful backgrounds, likable character cast, beautiful fighting choreography (even better than most modern shonens), comfy SOL theme, wholesome and funny character interactions (their cute & funny antics makes it enjoyable), great OSTs and EDs.
Cute girls are a bonus, but holy shit! The Kunoichi Tsubaki threads were one of the most enjoyable threads I've ever participated.

That shows plot makes no sense because humans are alpha male creatures. If something threatened us we would rise up and use its tech against it, sorta like what you saw in Evangelion or any alien invasion movie. Humans would never allow another species to dominate them, that's not how alpha species exists in nature. We either rule the earth or we get wiped out. The neanderthals were also alphas, so we raped, murdered and made them extinct. A planet can only have one alpha species.
Also, if dangerious creatures existed we would be building bases and being in a constant state of war until one of us is wiped out. Just like in Eva. Say what you want about Eva but it's an accurate depication of how mankind would react to an alien invasion.
