Good fight, but pretty mediocre mid-season Cure debut. Felt like it had no real drama or stakes, and there was very little build up to Amane becoming Finale. Not every season needs to dedicate like 6 episodes of build up to the mid-season Cure debut like Hugtto or TR, but it just didn't feel triumphant or exciting. That the enemy didn't feel particularly strong didn't help, either. The other Precure were perfectly fine and even helped Finale fight.

No, I wanted strong character drama and/or higher stakes. Finale's debut would've been a fine if she had debuted alongside the other 3, but it didn't have the feeling of triumph or accomplishment that should come with a mid-season debut. The girls don't even need to job or anything; Passion debuted after Setsuna got into a fist fight with Love and died.
