What is a good indicator that a manga is written by a woman?

When the author's name has a -ko in it.

When it's based on a pointless topic like tea or knitting.

When it's good.

it's actually good

>unfunny humor
>concept of genuine friendship between two male characters either displayed inaccurately or straight up not existing
>humungous hands and feet

Oh also, bad art most of the time. Something like Berserk or Vagabond drawn by a woman is unthinkable.

ntr

when the love interest is two times older or taller than the girl. Two times taller would be this or grimoire of zero for example.
also because it would be good.

there are like 1 or 2 japanese authors that can nail it
male friendship in japanese story telling is almost non existent

Tfw no homies who power through an adventure together, become best man in the other’s wedding, and not making jokes about the other/having good chemistry.
If it did occur, everyone sees them as gay. Big sad

When OP is a fag and makes another thinly veiled 'I hate women' thread that doesn't belong on Any Forums.

I use a good manga as an example.

Usually the art gives it away. Some times it's more obvious than others but woman art is still woman art.

The real defining feature is the tits - guys tend to draw them like stapled-on balloons, while girls draw them as smooth and soft parts of the body

t. down bad

When you see that the relationship between a man and a woman was not written by some degenerate. When the fanservice is actually subtle and hot and not "ueeee boobs".

This is quite true. Was re-reading Tonari no Kaibatsu and even tho the male love interest's whole thing is a desire for having friends, he mostly ignores the other guy in the friend group - whos a total bro btw - and the story largely treats his love rival as his best friend despite them hating each other and the dude straight up trying to steal his girlfriend to his face.

When they portray women accurately

when somehow, men arent interested in breasts as much as holding hands. It has to be a 50/50 balance or 51+/49-, and if it becomes 49/51 somehow, its definitely a woman

Male friendship has homosexual undertones and is about as subtle as a jackhammer about it.
Guy friends are very polite and formal with one another.
Real guy friendship is guys ripping on one another, not going too far in doing it, forgiving the messed up shit your friend does, and doing absolute retarded and disrespectful shit in general.
90s anime and manga had it more right

I would say often unique art styles and a non-focus on having "good" or "cool" art. Often branching off to wildly off norm art styles for jokes/reactions, etc. Lack of background detail.

Men are written poorly women are written well
