Here's the second and final part of Chapter 7: Invincible Cat. Part 1 can be found here Last time Naoe and Erufuda were faced with a ferocious Manticore.
We appear to be back to a quasi-monthly release schedule with biweekly chapter halves. I'll be posting a rough machine translation of each page for context.
Naoe knows she'll just come back through the gate afterwards, but Erufuda suggests going back with her and leading her back to her homeland, far away from the gate. However, she realizes can't make it through the gate herself.
The Manticore can stay as long as it doesn't hurt anyone, and Erufuda will make sure of it. She tells it that french fries are far more delicious than people.
My PM is dead. He's gone! But he's right there on my back, and here in my heart! He lives on as a part of me! If you're gonna draw, draw to the heavens. No matter what's in my way, I won't stop! Once I've drawn through - it means that I've won!

Despite the difficulties, it seems to be working. Erufuda is surprised the Manticore has a small energy saving mode, just like the giants. Showing this form to them means they've built up a lot of trust.
This Manticore was responsible for an attack on the trader that comes to their village back home. Auntie is tasked with hunting it down, and it's her fault it escaped into the human world. However, she isn't here to kill it, just capture and relocate it to somewhere far away.
There's no problems if it keeps a distance from everyone else. Auntie thanks Erufuda for doing a good job keeping things peaceful, and to leave the rest up to her.
They watch for a little while longer, knowing it'll feel a bit more lonely without her around. But they couldn't go home. Erufuda fed it too many fries, and Auntie had too much soft serve this week.
End of chapter 7. The next chapter begins on July 22nd. This chapter had 32 pages of content, compared to the usual 28 that most other chapters have. So far, chapter 2 is the longest with 34 pages. I really hope this pace can be kept up from now on.
