GUNDAM

Amuro or Char?

Char's more interesting than Amuro. Amuro's like Kamille but less autistic, and Judau but less of a comedian.

Amuro is nothing like Kamille or Judau.

I personally enjoy the virtueism and tenacity of Gundam's star officer, Quatro Bajeena.

>CCA happened because Char can't really stand he got cucked from his brown mommy wife
>yeah there was about retarded feds corruption, but his mommy wife comes first

It’s too make him more relatable.

Except he is, but less autistic and less funny than either.

They have nothing in common except for being protagonists in a Tomino Gundam show. Might as well say Amuro is just Uso but older. Or Loran but a man.

Then what's Amuro's defining personality trait that sets him apart from the rest of the protagonists?

His love for tinkering with machines.
The fact that he openly has no motivation to fight in the war.
He’s not an orphan.

char is a spastic retard who changes goals and ideology based on a whim. He just happens to look like a chad while doing it.
In fact he's such a chad that he managed to trick the irl audience into thinking that he's a cool guy, when in reality he's a sadsack living out a midlife crisis.

Amuro was Shinji done right 16 years before Shinji.

The only thing they have in common is that they both ran away at one point.
The purpose of the characters are entirely different.

Ah, a fellow man of culture.

And that they represented regular teenagers instead of heroes or soldiers.

>His love for tinkering with machines.
So did Kamille, and Judau was a bit of an /m/ autist too, being a scavenger and all.
>The fact that he openly has no motivation to fight in the war.
The other's were also fighting for their own interests, more than out of patriotism. Kamille hated the Titans/E.F. and Judau was just trying to get his sister to a good school.
>He’s not an orphan.
Neither was kamille and that's not a personality trait.

>fighting for their own interests
That’s a motivation Amuro lacks.
>Neither was kamille
He is for most of the show.

when exactly did he turn into this guy who would throw anyone under the bus to achieve his goal?
what was the catalyst?

Better character > Char.
Better person > Amuro.

shinji is not an everyman

>when exactly did he turn into this guy who would throw anyone under the bus to achieve his goal?
That’s what he does the entire time during the original show. He already starts of that way.

>Better person > Amuro.
Thanks to char making him man up in zeta. SO I guess you could say that Char is also the better person.

He was always like that. Just ask Garma.
