Europe in Anime

How do you cope with the representation of your country (or the lack thereof) in anime?

Laugh at the representations of other countries, of course.

You know a thread is shit when it starts with "how do you cope"

>no Infinite Stratos girls
ok.

t. guy from whatever shithole is between Estonia and Lithuania

Isn't L from Death Note British too?

Feels good to be an American and always be represented as a white Chad with blond hair

>feels good to be misrepresented in anime

>Russia
>First Squad
Heh, I even wonder if Europeans or Americans have watched this anime or even know about it. This is the only anime of its kind that was created by the Russians together with the Japanese. In Russia, this anime was not well received, but it was an interesting experiment.

where is turkey?

>created by the Russians together with the Japanese
No wonder no one wanted to watch it then.

See bottom right (Arion, et al.) or top left (Asuka et al.).

Yeah, probably. Anime that shouldn't exist.

I don't care about representation and neither should you.

Sour grapes.

>even Lithuania has representation
>czech has three (3) characters
>Hungary 2 characters

It's not as if this is comprehensive, I see several obvious ones missing from countries with less than 6 characters shown.

>Lupin
>France
It's unclear if that's right or not.

It's pretty much meaningless since Nips never make even the slightest effort to get foreign cultures right. They're always just your standard anime copypaste template characters, one of which is "the Foreigner" that's 80% based on the Americans and 20% on the French.

We have an One Piece arc inspired by us so I'm happy with it
