Vivio should help them out more.

I will if they make me a magical girl

Ready for the new Nanoha spinoff tomorrow?

Anyone thinking it will have even the smallest of connections to Nanoha is completely delusional.

I'm looking forward to it because I like Tsuzuki's work but my expectations are kind of low.

I don't think anyone's honestly believed it would have connections to Nanoha. It's merely a joke due to NotHayate being present.

The magitech sports equipment has to come from somewhere since it takes place on earth.

Can Hayate blow up a planet if she wanted to?

She works under Hayate.

Nanoha stinks

Fate

Fate's fault.

Dog Days S1 was close to being fantastic, but he could not for the life of him balance out how serious the story was meant to be and couldn't help but make literally everyone have no real fault to what they were doing to the point of absurdity. Big fat cat tats was fucking retarded and set up the exact situation she foresaw while somehow not realizing it despite everything clearly matching up beforehand, and the actual conflict lasted extremely briefly without much weight to it.

Fantastic final two episodes though. S2 was okay and S3 was just plain shit outside of the middle few episodes because it was the apex of him not knowing how to balance the tone, and had the absolute worst plot Tsuzuki has ever written. It's almost like a fucking parody of himself.

Dog Days in general also had a far, far worse issue with "cast bloat" than any Nanoha entry. Absolute swathes of characters pop up with very poorly defined backgrounds and no screentime and you can tell he has this entire world set up in his head that is barely being displayed in the actual show. I'm sure it's a little better with the millions of untranslated extra media or whatever but despite Nanoha also having a bit of that issue, it's so so much worse.

Dude desperately needs an editor on his heels to keep his ideas in check.

Part of why I have some hope for Extreme Hearts is that it appears to be a pure sports anime. If he gets to write that, which he's clearly wanted to with Vivid and Dog Days but had to balance it out with a plot to varying levels of non-success, it might turn out okay.

They were shut down by Irodori.
