Death Note and Liar Game had a lot. I know Togashi read both so I don’t understand why he doesn’t use the techniques those manga did to make a lot of text visually better.

Can you shounentards please just stop? We get it, HxH and all the other popular shounenshit are bad. We know. You can stop telling us.
Please just abandon shounenshit entirely and read any other kind of manga.

Depends on what you consider as a "good" expositions.

This. Honestly, shonenfags like OP sound so much like battered wives.

>Death Note and Liar Game had a lot.
Can you post one?
When the information is naturally integrated into the scene, without sacrificing characterization, action, etc. But I am open to other perspectives.
I said manga, not just shonen.

from the same manga, unironically

just one chapter about this dude and now I wanna see what the fuck he is up to, even though we will never know.

I think Yozakura Quartet (the manga) does it well, it needs exposition because what happened in the past affects the main story and the villain's motivation, and even if a chapter (or arc) is filled with expositions, the author is almost always telling at least one other story that's happening at the same time, so we get character development, SoL or whatever alongside that exposition.

No one reads it and this is a shitposting thread, but I like it

Of all the uninspired template threads on Any Forums, this one sure is my favorite!

I love this fucking chapter

Cute.

You just have to intersperse it with action

this is just normal exposition. the content is interesting, but the form is boring. the only good example in this thread so far was where everything is explained through a casual phone conversation

this is the series that has kept autists fanboys hooked for like the 5 years its been since a chapter came out? that's hilarious

Ok, then have this as an interesting delivery.
It's even more interesting that the character was completely ignorant to the real dangers existent.

One Outs

He did. Believe it or not, HxH isn't one page long.

I remember when generic melodramatic flashbacks to a villains backstory excited me that instantly

Define what you mean "well done" and I can maybe show you examples. Because what might not work for one series, might work for the other
