ITT anime original endings that are better than thejr manga counterparts

Pic not related? Manga's ending was better.
Hunter Morales
All of Negima's anime endings were fucking awful but they at least bothered to show the final conflicts instead of saying 'lol, we beat the baddie offpanel', so they still trump the manga's.

I guess, that Good Timeline flashback was crappy and rushed but still better than the Negima anime endings. But, since that's shown in a sequel I don't count it as the finale of the manga itself, it is more like a much posterior add-on.

Elfen Lied

The first Shaman King anime
Dylan Nelson
Either is preferable to the movie endings which always have L beating Light.
Chase Diaz
Manga was too disproportionate to be satisfying, considering non of Light's victims got it anywhere near as bad
Tyler Richardson

Adam Reyes
fma 2003
Nolan Perry
>Light escapes, runs around a bit, and collapses outside
vs
>Light pitifully begs for his life in front of the god who told him from the start that he would kill him. Cornered, surrounded by the ones who outwitted him. Utterly pathetic at the very end.
In what parallel universe is the first one better?
Christopher Lee
Is this death note? Because holy shit what a way to miss the fucking point, you don't get a sad sequence so your mass murderer sociopath gets to be all emotional and sad, you just kill him and just like that it's over.
Jonathan Smith
Manga ending literally made Light win by accomplishing his goal, he wanted to be a god of the new world and the last pages show hundreds of people praying for him as a god, meanwhile showing him as the most pathetic man ever begging Ryuk to keep him alive completely at the opposite of its character for the whole manga. This makes the manga ending both unsatisfying and failing at its message (People praising Kira proves he was justice till the end because justice is decided by mankind in the end)
The anime saves this by removing this garbage Kira worship and giving a way more tragic ending to the character, remembering his past and showing Ryuk killing him out of pity in a kind of bittersweet way, with Light seing a glimpse of L in his dying breath probably thinking how his rivalry with him is what gave meaning to his life.
Anime ending remains kind of cliche with its weird ass happy music and credit roll, but it's still way more subtle than what the manga did.
tl;dr
>in manga : kira wins, light is pathetic and retarded
>in anime : Kira loses, light is respected and the story's theme is not destroyed
Carson Long
Having a cult of delusions retards praise you doesn't mean that you're right
Adrian Young
Kys
Camden Reed
It's not that he's right which would lead to a discussion about justice and how to fix criminality i'm not smart enough to devolve into but just that he accomplished his goal. This motherfucker spends the entire manga sperging of how much he wants to become a god and how he is a god for humans and the very last page shows human praising him as a god, he fucking won. His god complex is the least subtle part of death note
Benjamin Wilson
I'm pretty sure that even if a few retards still liked Kira, Light was absolutely butthurt that he died there. He'd probably have accepted to go back to being a nobody if it could have saved his life. Light really died like a dog.
Benjamin Cooper
Attack on Titan
James Diaz
Crime went back to what it was. Having like 100 or even 1000, 10 000 or 100 000 guys worship Kira doesn't change anything. The world went back to what it used to be and Near is the one calling the shots now, not Kira.
Adrian Anderson
And then the anime fucked it up by making a cash grab sequel.
Jayden White
You first. The manga ending was better. Mikami tells Light he isn't God. Light dies like a bitch begging Ryuki for help only to shit his pants in fear when he sees Ryuk writing his name down. Mastsuda figures out that Near cheated by using the Death Note to manipulate Mikamai's actions.
David Edwards
Indeed, but in the manga he died like a faggot dog, almost seem like Oba wanted to make Lightfag seethe but disrespecting your protagonist, even if he was a piece of shit, is still character assassination especially if you make him some badass edgelord till the very end
Oliver Anderson

>he died like a faggot dog
>implying the wasn´t
lmao Death Note fags surely are underage
