Arata: detached and never shows any direct interest in her. Aloof, only shows himself in moments he can look cool. Zero signs that he'd make for a healthy relationship and won't be at risk of disappearing at random.
Taichi: Clearly interested in her, emotionally vulnerable. Open with his feelings, isn't afraid to show his weaker side to Chihaya. A stable, safe choice.
