Hard to describe, but the "sound design".
And not in a "wow, hand hit face and make smack noise" kind of way, but the voice actors performances, how its mixed, and the music they choose for the dialogues.
Its hard to put into words, but its something that have always hit me different with monogatari compared to other shows.
It feels like every fucking sentence they utter is pure ear-candy
