Seeing animeonlies support the Alliance and having no problems watching them kill their fellow countrymen in order to doom their country longterm made me realize that the fanbase was too dumb for AnR to ever be popular

I was an AOE schizo until the final episode of s4p2 was released with zero deviation from the manga. If they knew it was profitable to make AOE (because profit is all the AOT production committee care about) they would have teased a different ending by changing something in the finale to get fans hyped up. The fact that they didn't means they will adapt the rest of the show faithfully.
