Phos is my life. I love Phos, I am Phos.

Me too man, me too.

what do you love most about phos?

I love how much she suffers and his schizo meltdowns resulting from that suffering~

This was such a job, all they did was sic moonies and gems on the earth ones then execute anyone left. The jade and shitsha fight why bother? Just send the moonies to sweep the school

how did Ichikawa get away with discarding entirely the concept of character development and actually made good shit by completely replacing the original personality for something else throughout the story? what's the secret to write something so counterintuitive in a seamlessly way that fits with the narrative like she did, is this the true meaning of not giving a fuck?

I have changed too much through my life to the point of not being able to recognize how I used to be. I'm not trying to sound edgy, people can in fact change as much as Phos (the fact that I'm Phos is beside the point). The current Phos is still Phos. The story is obviously using a very inhuman setting with inhuman characters to tell the most human of stories, I feel like anyone can relate to the feelings and base conflicts of the manga. The core things behind every part of the plot is extremely close to humanity.

Well it begs the question of weather or not a person is made up of the physical matter and memories or is a continuous stream of consciousness that may leave and forget things as time passes by. These questions are probably REALLY going to start to show up if the author goes for that Lunerian Phos idea some people have been p0nntnositing.

I want to make Phos emotionally dependent on me for 10,000 years.

This is definitely the official Houseki schizo thread

Quality and substantial op's only my ass jannies.

I'm sorry user, I was so desperate for more Phos posting that I bumped the schizo thread, I beg for your forgiveness :)

More Phosschizos are always appreciated

Glad to hear it! Just hurts cause this shit is gonna be on my mind nonstop for like the next month, don't know how any of you managed it for that crazy hiatus I managed to avoid.

I thought it would fade away with time but it has been really intense since I read the manga for the first time. It's been so long.

I just read this amazing shitpost for the first time. Did Ichikawa ever explain the 28th gem? Was it the ice floes?

what would have happened if the Lunarians just ignored Kongo-sensei and his gem children entirely? Wouldn't the immortal gems develop the same existential dread and longing for non-existence that the Lunarians have? And when they did, wouldn't Kongo-sensei have been able to pray?

Attached: 1648067345049.jpg (1114x1600, 2.14M)

That might have worked, but it would need the Lunarians to exhibit a degree of self-control and self-denial they've never displayed.

Whether Kongo would be able to pray is another matter - he started a couple of times and then broke altogether, we don't know what would have happened if he'd continued either time.

No they'd have just wound up shattered and going into the ice flows with the rest of the ancient gems, while sensei focused on the new generations of gems

Why the lunarians can't save themselves?
