Why did they make Broly into a punching bag in his own movie?
No other movie (except RoF, of course) has the antagonist in a position below the heroes (until their defeat) like Super Broly does.
He just gets pummelled for 15 minutes, gets a power up, gets pummelled again and then it repeats ad nauseam.
