We are now at the part that has not yet been animated, so if you want to go into season 2 blind, feel free to read this later
Made in Abyss Storytime Vol. 6
Which character are you most excited to see in season 2?
Unoriginal answer but Moth for sure
Good read, everyone.
Also, discussion:
Am I the only one who feels like Tsukushi's art style isn't appreciated enough?
Every single panel is like a watercolor paiting, which even in just black and white it's still so magnificent and superb. The spreads, then, are TRUE works of art. There isn't a single panel which isn't carefully drawn like a precious, special little thing.
Like, there isn't any other author you even could begin to compare him with (because although the medium is a manga, the art itself is something entirely unique.)
I hear many good things about the anime/movie (I watched it, and I agree it's good), but the manga creates something (I can't even explain it with words) entirely unique which I haven't seen anywhere else, something that simply cannot be conveyed in the animation medium (unless they paint every single frame by hand.) It's deep, thick, mysterious and alluring. It's like Tsukushi had the most incredible, fanciful dream and managed to capture parts of it into the paper.
Of course, I'm just talking about the art here. The world/story itself is another whole topic I could go in detail (and how perfectly it ties with his unique art.)
>glomp
Just watched the movie over lunch, excited to be delving into new ground
Great!
>he can peek in on my vision
How can he do this again? Does it have something to do with Zoaholic? I'll confess I've skipped a few parts in the manga since I've seen the anime already.
I just realized this is from the past
speaking of, why haven't they asked Faputa to tell them everything she knows about Reg? Is she too retarded to remember/understand anything?
>the depths
What shit TL is this?
Was this really necessary?
pee and poop scenes are always necessary
hi OP-chan
Hello, hope you have a lovely day
truly i am, i'm reading Made in Kino
yeah it's crazy
I don't think he originally intended to be a mangaka
he said MiA was originally supposed to be a picture book, and some panels really look like they'd fit in a picture book
some people complain about the release schedule but honestly given the quality of the art I think he shouldn't rush
That's a word I haven't heard in a while
